Step 1 Clearly define your intention You desire to become a vampire, but what does that mean to you? An immortal, blood-drinking creature of shadows? A living vampire who does not require blood? Step 2 Focus your intention Focus on an initial step in attaining your desire. In this case, focus on bringing vampiric knowledge, perhaps through introduction to a mentor, into your life. Step 3 Design your spell Collect items and words that symbolize vampires for you. The items will vary from person to person. Some possibilities include the classic vampire cape, sharp teeth, dark clothing, roses, obsidian or jet. Immortal, nocturnal, supernatural strength, shadows.... Compose any rhymes, affirmations, or drum rhythms and choreograph any dance movements for use in the ritual. Step 4 Prepare your spellcasting area Locate and set up a secure area where you will not be disturbed or interrupted. Step 5 Choose the appropriate time to work your spell Align with the most advantageous natural cycles. In this case, do your spell at night by the phase of the moon which has the most personal relevance, i.e., full moon or new moon. Step 6 Cast your spell Perform your ritual. Arrange your symbolic items according to your spell design. Recite and repeat your affirmations or rhymes. Drum or dance. Move toward your intention. Believe in your magic.
